This project has provided a great opportunity to learn about Wordpress setup and maintenance, shared hosting services (Bluehost), and a little PHP as well. Not to mention, I'm paid in incredible food.

Redesigning my personal website

My original iterations of this website had two major problems: there was no interactivity and everything was too wordy. This new design scales things back to the minimum, while still adding room for interactions (like the Owl Carousel currently in use).

Learning development at Codeacademy

I have been learning to code with Codeacademy courses and by working my way through the Ruby Monks site and the Ruby on Rails Tutorial by Michael Hartl. Right now, my focus is on Rails and building my first web app.
